Hey, that's great news about Dead Men's Dust. And I'll be sure and check out the interview.
Thanks Mike, all my fingers are crossed, but I'm up against some cool books so don't expect to win. I'd love to, no doubt about it, but I'm trying to stay a little pessimistic so that I'm not disappointed if my name doesn't get called ;-)
Hell, regardless, it was your first book which got shortlisted...that's off the charts!
Whoopee-do, Matt! Though it would be great to win, to be shortlisted is an amazing acheivement - enjoy the moment, however it turns out!
(but will still have fingers etc. crossed....)
Thanks Mike and Sue,
I'm trying to remain restrained and practicing my acceptance speech at the same time :-O
hah! Don't forget to practice the subtle wiping away of a tear and the hoarse voice full of emotion ....
;-p
I think a Sally Field 'You Like Me, You Really Like Me' would suit you! great stuff!
