Myth Breaker

Dispelling the myth that all English men are too reserved and that we have no fashion sense, the grounds were set for a challenge I just could not pass on.

Enter THE SHIRT TO END ALL SHIRTS!!

It got me first prize in the ugliest shirt category at the specially ordained competition during the Saturday Night Bouchercon A Go Go Disco (specially ordained that is by only me and co-English attendee Adrian Magson - the only other competitior for the grand prize).

Who needs a Shamus or Edgar or any other award when they get the Loudest Shirt Award?

Sunglasses at the ready...

P.S. I sadly had to leave the shirt behind, tucked up at the back of a drawer in my hotel room. It wouldn't have made it past customs.

Strewth, Matt. There are laws against shirts like that, something to do with cruel and unusual punishment or something...

Are you sure you and Adrian didn't stumble upon a RAVE?? Where's your whistle and oversized "beanie" hat? lol

Hey, Paul. Maybe you're right judging by my BUNGLE shaped head!

Dean, the punishment was enduring to wear the bloody thing. When i got there and realised me and Adrian were the only ones who'd taken up the challenge, you can imagine how i might have felt (hence chucking the bloody thing to the back of a drawer at first opportunity!)

David. What do you mean stumble upon a rave? Can't you tell I'm throwing shapes with my hands? Big Box, Little Box anyone?

Mind you, the only aciiiiid, was the view i kept getting of myself in the disco ball ;-)

I'm not usually failed for words, yet you've managed to stump me. Fantastic.

Pity you ditched it, you could have used it again and posted a video of you performing the Big Fish, Little Fish Cardboard Box, followed by Stacking the Shelves and everyone's fave Feeding the Ducks.

Big Fish, Little Fish? I can't even get the name of the dance right, let alone do it. ;-0

Oh man, that is awful. But kudos for going for it, matt
