Looks fantastic Matt. One thing my wife commented on while I was ranting at the "interview" the other day was the use of the colours on your covers. They stand out so well and this new one is superb. Col beat me to the daff comment!
Regards, David.

No Daffs, but I wonder when the 'Hilton Motel' will get mentioned.

One thing I forgot to ask, and it may seem like a stupid question but do you, as the author, decide on the cover of your novel? How does that process work? Sorry if I've sounded a bit 'thick'.
It is a belter though!

Basically the answer is NO. I have no input to the covers whatsoever. It's all done very seperately to the actual writing/editing process. Marketing and design specialists are consulted and design the cover based on what they think will catch the buying public's eye. I normally see the covers before they are released to the genreal public, but by then they are usually done and dusted and ready to go. At that stage, if I started complaining I'm sure it would cost a whole heap of money to change things. I know there are authors who have complained about their covers in the past, but I don't know of an example where the cover has been changed as a result.

Obviously I'm only speaking from my own experience, so if my name was 'Stephen King' or 'James Patterson' or such, I'm not sure.

Hope this (kind of) explains things.
