For the (Daily) Record...

http://blogs.dailyrecord.co.uk/sharilow/

Shari Low of the Daily Record says of Slash and Burn:

"Three books into the Joe Hunter series and Matt Hilton delivers another hardcore, action-packed gritfest featuring a cold-blooded killer with a heart of gold."

Thanks Shari.

You can't say fairer than that. Short, sweet and right on the button. I'm almost at the end of the book myself and I'm well impressed, Matt. I may even try a review of it myself, but would only end up repeating what has already been said. 1 & 2 were good and S&B has lifted the series again.

Regards, David.

P.s. I see you've decorated. :-)

Nice review, says eeverything it needs to without spoilers. The new site seems a little bright, but i'm sure i'll get used to it... :)

Woooooah! Somebody redecorated in here?

While I'm getting used to the new 'look' I'll add my tuppenceworth - yet another fine review to add to collection, Matt. And let's face it - well deserved!
I really think Joe Hunter#3 has re-set the bar!

Now, just let me remember to get my shades on before I log in here again...... ;-p

I agree, short and sweet and straight to the point.

As for the 'new look', I just felt I'd have a spring clean and tidy up. I'm going to trial a few new looks and see which is best, I just felt the old black screen had served its purpose for the time being.

Don't mention spring cleaning - I don't have time for that, too busy reading! (last pages of S&B, proof-reading Mr Glaznost's Blake novels, David Barber's FFF, TK&C.... and a HUGE pile of TBR books!) Dunno when I'm supposed to flick a duster round.

Surely that's what children are for, Sue? Otherwise what's the point?
