I'm still chuffed to have got a mention, because on the whole it's darn good.

I think reviews are supposed to be a bit like this, Matt - rough with the smooth n all that. It's all subjective, right?

Yeah, and I'm happy with the end result. It's odd, isn't it. One reviewer says a semblance of a story, another says a weildy plot - I guess you have to take the average and think OK, then. Simple as. Hey, like Pat said about The Kirkus review, I'm damn lucky to be even reviewed by Publishers Weekly.
